Kelsey Hall Management Committee held their AGM on Monday 7th October 2019

Kelsey Hall Management Committee held an evening of Live Music with Willie Austen on Saturday 5th October 2019 

KHMC is delighted to let you know that the grand sum of £1268.86 was made from this event which was held to raise much needed funds for the hall.
It was a hugely enjoyable evening for all who attended.
Very many thanks to the sub-committee for all the hard work and organisation to make the event the success that it was.
Willie Austen and his guitarist Paul Stenton were fabulous and made it an evening to remember!

Ifold Gardening Club held their Horticultural Show on Saturday 7th September 2019 from 2.30pm to 4.00pm.
Everyone was welcome to come along at 2.30pm to see the displays from the Gardening Club members of home-grown vegetables, fruits, flowers and home-made jams, scones, cakes, breads and many more.
The auction at 3.30pm gave visitors the chance to bid for some amazing home produced goodies some of which had been awarded prizes.
Visitors enjoyed FREE ADMISSION & FREE TEAS and BISCUITS!

Ifold Gardening Club held their Annual BBQ on Sunday 4th August 2019 from 12:30pm – 6.00pm in the Large Hall.

Non-members were most welcome to this popular Gardening Club event.

Tickets were just £8 per person for non-members, great value for money for a very enjoyable afternoon with a fabulous selection of food!

Organised and run by the Ifold Gardening Club Committee.

KIPHRA  held their Summer Concert on Thursday 11th July 2019 in the large hall.

It was a real musical treat! The programme was packed with many delights, such as

  • Csardas ​by Vittorio Monti
  • Toccata on King’s Weston ​by Ralph V. Williams
  • Berceuse ​by Gabriel Faure
  • The Lion Sleeps Tonight ​by George D. Weiss
  • Down by the Riverside​ arr. by Arnold Sherman
    and many more.
    Tim Willetts conducted the bell-ringers and he also kept the audience amused with interesting snippets of information between each piece of music.

An all round entertaining evening thoroughly enjoyed by all.

IFRA held an “Ifold Community Fun Day” on Saturday 18th May 2019.

“The IFRA committee would like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who supported our event.  We were honoured to have Julie Walters, chauffeured by Alan Pearson at the head of the Vintage Vehicle Parade and Julie delighted us all as she declared the event open. It certainly was a day to remember!

There was something for everyone. A variety of stall holders sold artisan delights ranging from fudge to furniture. Activities for children were provided by Little Acorns Pre-school and the Explorers.  We showcased performances from the local handbell ringers, ukulele band, singers and tango dancers!
Local clubs and groups from Table Tennis to Pilates and including the Parish Council and Plastic Free Loxwood provided static displays.
There were teas and cakes as well as bacon and sausage butties. Everyone enjoyed a very informative and entertaining day! Please click on the images to see an enlarged view.

We raised a total of £312.62 for the 2019 Santa Parade so we are delighted that we will be able to welcome Santa back to Ifold on Friday 20th December. Save the Date!!!!!”

Kelsey Hall IfoldLittle Acorns Pre-School held their Easter Fair on Saturday 6th April 2019 in the Large Hall & Small Hall.

This is the main annual fund-raising event for the pre-school. The photograph shows the hall all set up and ready to go! Come back soon to read all about how it went.

Kelsey Hall IfoldIfold Gardening Club held their New Year Party on Saturday 5th January 2019 in the Large Hall.

Non-members were welcome to come along for this enjoyable occasion.

An excellent evening started off with a hot meal prepared and served by the committee. This was followed by a selection of desserts made by club members (see the photos!). Music supplied by a club member, fondly known as DJJK; a quiz plus a pass the parcel (with forfeits resulting in participants wearing a bobble hats or a woollen scarf!) all made for a really enjoyable occasion.
