|A Working Party for an autumnal clear up at Kelsey Hall took place on Sunday 20th November.
A huge thank you from KHMC to those volunteers who helped to trim back branches and shrubs around the car park.
A very thorough job was done and special thanks go to Jon Pearce (and Emma for volunteering him!) who kindly made several trips with his trailer to clear the prunings. Their daughter Jasmine had her own mini trailer and presided over the loading of all the prunings and made sure nothing fell off during each journey to and fro!
Thanks also to Wendy Gravestock for providing refreshments and a delicious selection of biscuits!

|Little Acorns Pre-School held an 80’s Night on Saturday 15th October 2016
It sounds like they had a fabulous evening. Here is their report:
“What an amazing night!
We were entertained by a live band called ‘Orange’ and DJ Mike. We had booze, burgers, boogieing, lots of 80s fancy dress, a great auction and a special video appearance from Simon Le Bon! This all happened to raise money for Little Acorns and all under one roof! A big thank you to our dedicated committee, the band ’Orange’ and in particular our talented Caroline, Nell Cox’s mum. We had some amazing donations for our auction, which alone raised £1,160. Thank you to everyone who supported this event and made it a fantastic night. We are pleased to say that in total we raised £2,400, which will help towards updating our outside space. Who knows we might be mad enough to organise another event, so if you have any ideas please share them with our committee.”
