IFOLD SLOT CAR RACING ASSOCIATION HAS ROOM FOR TWO MORE MEMBERS

The club meets most 2nd and 4th Wednesdays to race on a 62′ track at Kelsey Hall.
Most of the time they race 1/32 scale slot cars, though chatting comes a close second.
Potential members should possess a selection of cars, or be prepared to acquire them. Classes range from pre-war to moderns, single seater through Le Mans to classic saloon.
For further details please contact Peter Seager-Thomas on 01403 753447 or at prseagerthomas@gmail.com

COMING SOON – KELSEY HALL PLAY PARK

Thanks to the Plaistow and Ifold Parish Council, we are in the process of creating a small play park under the trees.
It is anticipated that this area will not only provide an activity area for the pre-school children, but will also be a place where young families can meet up informally.
The location will promote walking and cycling to the play area by Ifold residents.
There are three important milestones happening in May: surfacing, fencing and installing the equipment.
Then all that will be needed is a bench, a bin and signage.
REGISTER YOUR INTEREST

There is a proposal to start a weekly parent/carer toddler group for 0 to 4s at Kelsey Hall starting in September.
It would be on Thursday mornings, probably 10.00 to 11.30am on a drop-in basis.
To cover hall hire, toys and light refreshments there would be a charge of about £3 per session per family.
We need to establish that enough families are interested to make this viable.
Please send an email message of interest to ClareHaddad@aol.com or call her on 01403 751677 if you want to discuss. Please share on Facebook.

Kelsey Hall is a Public Drop-Off Location for Terracycle’s Air, Home and Laundry Care Products

This allows us to recycle air, home and laundry care packaging which are not recycled via the Council recycling services.
Not only are you helping the environment, but your waste will also allow us to redeem points to raise funds for Kelsey Hall.
We have a specific Blue Bin for this in the car park which means you can come and drop your waste anytime at your convenience.
